1. Ar-Rahman
- The One who has plenty of mercy for the believers and the blasphemers in this world and especially for the believers in the hereafter.

2. Ar-Rahim
- The One who has plenty of mercy for the believers.

3. Al-Malik
- The One with the complete Dominion, the One Whose Dominion is clear from imperfection.

- The One who is pure from any imperfection and clear from children and adversaries.

- The One who Hears all things that are heard by His Eternal Hearing without an ear, instrument or organ.

- The One who is attributed with greatness of Power and Glory of status.

- The One who is clear from abjectness.

- The One that nothing is absent from Him. Hence it's meaning is related to the attribute of Knowledge.

- The One who answers the one in need if he asks Him and rescues the yearner if he calls upon Him.
- The Responder. The respondent, one who answers.
45. Al-Wasi'
- The Englober. The enricher, the Omnipresent, the Knowledgeable.

- The One who is correct in His doings.
- The most Wise, the Judicious.
47. Al-Wadud
- The Affectionate, the Loving.
48. Al-Majid
- The One who is with perfect Power, High Status, Compassion, Generosity and Kindness.

- The One who resurrects for reward and/or punishment.
- The Resurrector, the Raiser from death.

- The One who took out a living human from semen that does not have a soul. He gives life by giving the souls back to the worn out bodies on the resurrection day and He makes the hearts alive by the light of knowledge.

- The One who renders the living dead.
- The Bringer of Death. The Death Giver.
62. Al-Hayy
- The One attributed with a life that is unlike our life and is not that of a combination of soul, flesh or blood.

63. Al-Qayyum
- The One who remains and does not end.
- The Self-Subsistent, The Eternal, the Self Sustaining.
64. Al-Wajid
- The Rich who is never poor. Al-Wajd is Richness.

- The One without a partner.

- The One who is Majid.

- The One who is clear from the attributes of the creation.
- The Exalted, The most high, one above reproach.

- The One who is kind to His creatures, who covered them with His sustenance and specified whoever He willed among them by His support, protection, and special mercy.
- The Benefactor, The Beneficent, the Pious.
80. At-Tawwab
- The One who grants repentance to whoever He willed among His creatures and accepts his repentance.
- The Acceptor of Repentance, The Forgiver, the Relenting.
81. Al-Muntaqim
- The One who victoriously prevails over His enemies and punishes them for their sins. It may mean the One who destroys them.
- The Avenger
82. Al-'Afuww
- The One with wide forgiveness.
- The Forgiver, the effacer, the Pardoner
83. Ar-Ra'uf
- The One with extreme Mercy. The Mercy of Allah is His will to endow upon whoever He willed among His creatures.

84. Al-Muqsit
- The One who is Just in His judgment.

85. Aj-Jami'
- The One who gathers the creatures on a day that there is no doubt about, that is the Day of Judgment.

- The One who does not need the creation.
- The rich, the all sufficing, Self-Sufficient
87. Al-Mughnee
- The One who satisfies the necessities of the creatures.
- The Enricher, sufficer, the bestower.

- The Supporter who protects and gives victory to His pious believers. Al-Mu'tiy

- The One who makes harm reach to whoever He willed.

- The One who gives benefits to whoever He wills.

KISAH MEREKA YANG MASUK ISLAM (Moh. John Webster)

Saya lahir di kota London dan saya tumbuh sebagai orang Kristen Protestan. Pada tahun 1930, sewaktu saya masih berumur belasan tahun, saya menghadapi berbagai kesulitan yang biasa dijumpai oleh setiap pemuda yang cerdas yang mempergunakan akal pikirannya, yaitu mengenai beberapa persoalan hidup sehari-hari yang pada dasarnya bertalian dengan tuntutan agama. Disinilah saya mulai menemukan kelemahan agama Kristen.
Agama Kristen adalah satu kepercayaan campuran yang menganggap dunia sebagai dosa sambil berusaha menyesuaikan dirinya dengan kenyataan-kenyataan hidup dan menggantungkan harapan kepada kehidupan akhirat. Sebagai hasilnya, ditetapkanlah melaksanakan keagamaan pada hari Minggu secara khusus yang dianggap tidak ada bandingannya dalam hari-hari lain dalam seminggu. Pada waktu Inggris menghadapi masalah-masalah kemiskinan dan ketidaktentraman masyarakat. Agama Kristen tidak berusaha sedikitpun untuk menyelesaikannya. Karena itulah, maka dengan semangat seorang pemuda dan pengaruh emosi yang melebihi pengaruh ilmu pengetahuan, kepercayaan saya kepada gereja itu menjadi luntur, dan jadilah saya seorang komunis.
Akan tetapi komunisme hanya memberi kepuasan terbatas dan tertentu kepada pemuda-pemuda emosional berumur belasan tahun. Lalu tidak lama kemudian kelihatan tabi'atnya yang buruk berdasarkan perjuangan klas yang tidak pernah akan berhenti. Setelah saya menolak komunisme dengan dasar materialismenya, mulailah saya mempelajari falsafah dan agama-agama. Saya mulai mempelajari keadaan sekeliling saya, suatu hal yang menyebabkan saya memeluk pantheisme, suatu agama yang menganggap suci kepada alam dan menghormati undang-undangnya.
Kami orang-orang Barat menemui kesulitan untuk mengenal Islam, sebab sejak terjadinya perang Salib ada satu komplotan tersembunyi atau pertimbangan yang keliru tentang soal-soal ke-Islaman.
Kemudian pada waktu saya tinggal di Australia, saya telah minta satu copy Kitab Suci Al-Qur'an pada Sydney Public Library. Akan tetapi sesudah saya membaca kata pengantar dari penterjemahnya, saya merasa adanya fanatisme yang menentang Islam secara terang-terangan. Oleh karena itu, lalu saya tutup saja buku itu dan saya tinggalkan. Di sana tidak ada Al-Qur'an terjemahan seorang Muslim. Beberapa minggu kemudian pada waktu saya ada di Perth, Australia Barat, saya sekali lagi menanyakan pada perpustakaan satu copy Al-Qur'an dengan syarat penterjemahnya seorang Islam.
Saya tidak bisa menggambarkan dengan kata-kata tentang tanggapan saya yang langsung sesudah saya membaca Surat pertama di dalamnya, yakni Surat Al-Fatihah dengan ayat-ayatnya yang tujuh. Kemudian saya membaca sejarah kehidupan Rasulullah s.a.w. Saya menghabiskan waktu beberapa jam di Perpustakaan hari itu, dan saya telah menemukan apa yang sebenarnya saya inginkan, yakni dengan kurnia Allah s.w.t. saya telah menjadi orang Islam, pada hal sebelum itu saya belum pernah bertemu dengan orang Islam. Hari itu saya keluar dari perpustakaan dengan perasaan lesu, akibat kesungguhan saya berfikir dengan semangat yang meluap.
Pengalaman saya selanjutnya ialah saya masih bertanya kepada diri saya sendiri: Apakah itu benar-benar suatu kejadian atau hanya sekedar impian? Sungguh sulit bagi saya untuk mempercayai apa yang telah terjadi.
Saya keluar dari Perpustakaan untuk minum kopi. Di tengah perjalanan saya melihat pada sebuah gedung tinggi ada tulisan "MUSLIM MOSQUE" Lalu saya katakan kepada diri saya waktu itu juga: Sesudah engkau mengetahui kebenaran, engkau wajib mengikutinya segera.
LAA ILAAHA ILLALLAH, MUHAMMADUR RASULULLAH. Demikianlah dengan rahmat dan kurnia Allah s.w.t. saya telah menjadi seorang Muslim.
